Boutique Shopping…Silent Auction…Afternoon Tea…Program…”Becoming Queen Elizabeth II”

May 1, 2019 the Rockford Woman’s Club will host a special event featuring all things London. The event will be held at Forest Hills Country Club, 5135 Forest Hills Road in Rockford.

This event is open to the public. Tickets are $55 per person and can be purchased at www.RockfordWomansClub.com. Seating is limited, so early reservations are recommended.

Afternoon Tea will be served at Noon, followed by a program featuring actress Leslie Goddard, Ph.D. titled “Becoming Queen Elizabeth II” which explores the life of Britain’s famous monarch, from her childhood, the abdication of her uncle, her marriage to a navy officer named Philip, her World War II service, and her struggle to balance her roles as Queen and Mother.

Doors Open at 10:00 a.m. for shopping at 17 upscale boutiques featuring unique items from fashion to home decor.  Also available will be an impressive silent auction including exclusive dinner packages, variety of generous gift baskets, jewelry and so much more.
